My work tells stories. Not traditional stories in which there is a clear narrative or plot but a type of life-like fiction that triggers the imagination and suggests that something has passed or is about to happen. A sense of waiting or pause permeates the mood of my work but there is also a tension between the unusual or eerie and the mundane. My interest in photography resides here, somewhere between depicting and questioning the truth of what I see.
